| Classes are hard, but good....science will be interesting. Good times. I'm really looking foward to everything though. Tonight is a movie, "Glory Road" basically a re-make of "Remember the Titans" but with basketball instead. This is all part of welcome week for the freshman. It's fun, but work for the senate. Oh yeah, I forgot to post that I got senate. It will be good but a lot of work. Thent there is another dance on Thursday that needs people to help set up/tear down. I think I might be mysteriously unavailable.
So, I've been going to bed between 11-midnight this week and waking up at 6:30. So far so good. I go to breakfast, then do devotion (which is awesome by the way) then head to class at 9. That class is cancelled on Friday so I won't have anything until 10, then a break until 1 then work until dinner around 5. It's a good schedule.
Modern Art might kill me so if I don't post anything ever again look for me on 1st floor of Jones (the building that now owns my soul) buried under art projects, videos and tons of notes. :)

| (sidenote: this is a really good book. I've never read it before but I am thoroughly enjoying it. )
So if you thought my last post was wacked, be prepared because it is
currently 4:25 in the a.m. and I can't sleep. I was exhausted
when I got home from work so I went to bed early...obviously a little
too early. It's funny because the people who are working the
first shift are at work already. (you know who you are, haha,
sucks to be you!) I did my time on the early shift though, so I
don't feel bad sleeping in. If I can get back to sleep that is.
I actually used this interesting time to do some work and figured out a
budget for myself. I'm in trouble. Ok, not really, I think
it will work it's just one of those "make the dollar stretch" type of
things. No more random things on the spur of the moment (every
once in awhile it's we'll need a break though) no more driving around
for kicks and wasting gas, no more McDonald's or Sonic or, yes, sad to
say, Taco Bell at any given time just because. It's time to
tighten the belt. This is really scary, I'm starting to sound
like my dad! Eeek.
I think I actually might start an investment. Looking to the
future is not always a bad thing, as long as you don't live
there. Thinking about throwing some dough into the market and see
where it gets me. Hey who knows, in a few decades I might
actually be able to retire on it! :)
....tootles (and good night....hopefully)

| I shouldn't be posting because it's waaaaaay too late and I have
to work tomorrow. I love my job. The people are so much
fun, it's like hang-out time except we can't really sit down unless
we're on break.
2 weeks and 5 days until I'm free!! (Yeah, I like it, but it's still work and play is so much more fun.)
To describe my current mood.... hmmmmmm..... happy, content, all around
in a good mood (it might just be the caffeine/lack of sleep/all around
randomness of hanging out with wacky people talking, but, you
know.) Missing people makes it that much more awesome when you
get to see them...yes I'm talking about my friends at cofo again.
Oh well, you do what you can. It's rough, but good at the same
time.
'night!

| not much to report. I'm doing well, hanging out. Mom and dad are coming home from a 10-day trip today. Joel and I were at home all this time and we didn't a) kill ourselves b)kill each other or c) burn the house down. I'm pretty proud of us.
I'm counting down the time until I can move back to school. I'm psyched! I really feel like this semester is going to rock. 3 weeks. woot!
| so, lately I've been pretty much working, sleeping, or in Branson. I keep going back to hang out with friends but I find that I keep running out of time. That whole priorities thing is starting to kick my butt.
Seriously excited to move into Mabee this fall. I was able to get 5th floor (where I wanted in the first place) an amazing roommate and suite mates that I love!! I've already decided that this semester will be my get-back-in-gear-and-kick-butt time. I wasn't too happy with my grades or attitude back in April, so hopefully this will last and not rub off once school hits. I like Levi's idea not to skip any classes until after mid-terms. I think it was Levi who said that anyway. Anywho, not much more to update on.... just at home....working at a coffee shop....oh yeah, and I'm going karaoke-ing tonight...that should be interesting.
